Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented HS&E Director to join our our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Liaising with client, developer, consultants and contractors as well as KEO internal construction management and supervision, planning, engineering and design divisions.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships enhancing opportunities and business initiatives.
- Ensuring the safest delivery of the contracted PM/CM services to the client.
- Participating in establishing and implementing the Project Management Plan and procedures.
- Implementing standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
- Directing, Monitoring and enforcing standards of safety in compliance with KEO's Health and Safety & Quality Management System and Client requirements.
- Managing the reviewing and inspecting work areas determining potential occurrence of safety hazards & quality adherence.
- Directing and observing and ensuring that staff on site always; wear personal protective equipment, use hard hats and protective footwear, operate construction equipment in a safe manner and follow KEO's safety policies.
- Directing daily inspections of the projects to ensure compliance and where applicable make recommendations for change.
- During an emergency, determine and investigate the cause of the accident, establish a report and provide recommendation(s) to prevent future occurrences.
- Developing and implementing safety, environmental and quality policies needed to reduce accident-related costs and to meet the quality and environmental objectives as stated to the client.
- Regulating and setting policies after soliciting input from managers and workers.
- Providing training to KEO staff on safety as per OSHA requirements.
- Advising client on all matters pertaining to the health and safety schedule.
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of the risk management plan.
- Providing leadership, guidance and advice to the HSE team.
- Managing and leading project teams, project managers, engineers, consultants, specialist contractors and cost planners in expediting the projects' requirements
- Providing coherent presentations to shareholders and board members, on arising situations, progress status, and different reporting needs and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 25 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Health and Safety or construction related discipline.
- Excellent experience in a previous PMC role is essential as well as NEBOSH Diploma , NVQ Level 5.
- IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental Diploma, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Auditing qualification preferred
