JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Required to join an international contractor working on the build of a mega project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will lead the Health, Safety & Environmental Team and guide the project managers to ensure that all HSE Management System requirements are fully understood and effectively implemented.
• They will address significant HSE Concerns and major risks which need urgent actions, recommend solutions, and team up with the Project Management to eliminate risks and resolve safety challenges.
Requirements:
• A degree in Engineering or HSE• NVQ Level 6 in HSE (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent two-year College Diploma in HSE related field)
• 15+ years experience of working in a HSE role within the construction industry
• A proven track record of working on large scale building projects in the Middle East
• Strong leadership skills with experience of managing multi-cultural teams
• Excellent technical-writing skills; experience in writing HSE Plans & procedures
