Overview

Industrial Networking Specialist carry out the following responsibilities: protect industrial control systems (ICS) in critical infrastructure and key resource sectors such as electric power, oil & gas, water, chemical, and critical manufacturing. Serve as the technical expert for operating facilities and capital projects through providing Network and Cybersecurity consultation. Maintain awareness of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures for plant networks and systems cybersecurity. Issue, review, and maintenance of documents, policies, and standards governing the security for ICS equipment and networks. Work with control system SMEs and operational staff to design, implement and support the security of ICS networked systems. Strong background on security technologies such as firewalls, IDS, endpoint security solutions, access control systems, and other related security technologies within ICS environment. Develop secure network designs and protection strategies. Participate in ICS security incident response through all phases. Provide consultations on ICS security matters as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively lead cross-functional teams to successful project completion
- Represent an organization in high-level interactions with strategic partners with excellent communications skills as well as credibility as a leader and effectively interact with all organizational functions, including senior leadership.
- Have knowledge and experience working in developing technologies for industrial environments, ideally in a large company with diverse operations and/or in oil and gas operations.
- Revise and develop engineering standards to govern projects designs as well as providing consultations and support in this field.
- Identify cutting edge technologies that will improve cybersecurity posture of existing and future oil and gas facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
- Education: BS degree in System Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or its equivalent.
- Experience: +10 years in working in related Industrial Control Systems (ICS) systems focusing on ICS Cybersecurity and Network.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing Plants Automations, Data/Digital Communications and Networking Architecture, Wireless technology and services, communications protocols, systems architecture design and interfaces inside Oil and Gas operating plants' facilities and substations.
- Understanding of ICS fundamentals including but not limited to: distributed control system (DCS) and supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA) architecture and the role of common system component.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ICS architecture.
- Knowledge of IT and OT security best practices and understanding of the differences; understanding of protocols common in ICS environments.
- Knowledge of ICS cybersecurity international standards.
- Renowned certifications in cybersecurity, preferably CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA or other industry relevant certifications
