JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our Global Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced consultant Infrastructure Director to join their team in Tabuk, KSA at a high profile project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as an Infrastructure leader on large scale civil construction projects in KSA and the wider GCC.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
This critical role will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Infrastructure Divisional resources and ensuring that the set financial and operational plans and strategies are met. This will include coordinating business development initiatives, QMS implementation as well as the technical delivery of the highest quality within the branch.
Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
- Providing input to the Infrastructure Division’s global and business strategies and performance targets.
- Preparing an annual business plan for the branch.
- Responsible for achieving the overall operational and financial strategy and performance targets of the branch.
- Ensuring that QMS is effectively implemented across the branch.
- Overseeing contract negotiations, management of variation orders, disputes and claims.
- Representing the client in communications with the Client, Sub-Contractors and JV partners, serving as an organizational ambassador.
- Continually assessing technical skills versus needs and implement measures to ensure optimal technical capability of the branch.
- Driving branch performance through leading a team of professional employees towards achievement of strategic objectives.
- Analysing existing work processes, procedures and systems, identifying opportunities for increased efficiencies cost-effectiveness and service improvements.
- Coordinating monthly branch reporting.
Requirements:
Infrastructure Director Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
- 22+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial/leadership experience
- Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required
- Proven ability to perform in a supervisory/managerial capacity Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and the capabilities and efficiencies of specific engineering software for use in completing engineering assignments
Salary:
SAR
70,000 to 89,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
