JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

As the Institutional Sales Asset Manager you will be responsible for establishing a strong network of institutional clients in coordination with regional management and through PB channel management. you will build a profitable franchise through raising and retaining assets under management for the core and alternative products offered by the organization, and will be reporting to MENA Management Distribution Head.

Our client is a Global Investment and Financial organization that offers clients its combined expertise in the areas of Investment Banking, Private Banking, Asset management, advisory services and innovative products to companies, institutional clients and high-net worth private clients globally.

Description

* AM Institutional/Third party and AM product generalist, Saudi Arabia
* Establish a strong network of institutional clients (including SWFs/CB/Pension Funds, banks, corporates, FO, etc) in coordination with regional management and through PB channel management.
* Build a profitable franchise through raising and retaining assets (asset under management and revenue targets will be set in due course) for our core and alternative products offered by the organization's AM business, joint venture efforts as well as fully support our Private Fund Group franchise in Saudi.
* Engage internally (within CSAM) with Senior Management, Strategy, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Operations, Product Management, Sales, Product Development, and Legal on numerous fronts and a broad array of initiatives.
* Maintain strong dedication to and be part of regional success through working closely with all client interfacing areas of the organization, be at the forefront of cooperation and always look for cross sell opportunities
* Build a working relationship with the Saudi regulator (CMA)
* Embrace and adhere to all working standards set by senior management including client database management, audit, compliance and HR requirements

REQUIREMENTS

* University degree or equivalent.
* You possess confirmed experience in the Asset Management business with 3 to 5 years in the Institutional Sales / third party coverage / products in KSA
* CFA qualified (preferred)
* Able to handle multiple responsibilities
* To be familiar with the local laws and regulations or experience of dealing closely with a regulator
* You will be operating within a matrix reporting environment and should have worked across multiple lines of business
* Fluent in English and Arabic
