Overview

Berri Gas Plant is looking to hire an Instrumentation Engineer to be responsible for providing technical support to operating facilities, projects, technology deployment, and talent development of new corrosion engineers.

BGP current processing capacity is 1.5 billion standard cubic feet per day (BSCFD) of associated gas. The plant products are NGL, Ethane, Sales Gas and Liquid Sulfur.

You will work as technical support engineer, developing Engineering design packages, participate in plant trip troubleshooting and investigation, review project documentations.

Key Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:

- Conduct performance and compliance assessments for to the plant control systems & instrumentation and generate related reports
- Develop Engineering Design scopes and packages
- Preform control and relief valves sizing
- Troubleshoot and investigate malfunction systems and provide recommendations to reactivate the issues
- Conduct engineering job evaluation for plant modifications proposals
- Assist and provide technical consultation to Maintenance and Operation teams
- Provide the needed support to Plant Operation Engineers
- Conduct and Review major studies and Incident Investigations
- Perform and coordinate engineering studies
- Provide Engineering Support for approved Capital Projects
- Maintain engineering drawings and Mark-up PFD's, P&ID's, ILD's and data sheets
- Participate in HAZOP review sessions and ensure that all issues are addressed
- Work closely with vendors, and consultation departments as needed
- Conduct technical evaluations of control systems and instrumentation purchases
- Perform engineering studies
- Perform special assignments as directed, utilizing your engineering knowledge and experience. You should Perform engineering analysis of real time, process control digital systems in central operations facilities to aid in fault diagnosis
- Maintain activity on digital systems. Provides professional level expertise to the solution of complex hardware problems. Responsible, under the general direction of Superintendent in assigned Engineering Division and with work direction from other entities

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
- As successful candidate, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering with minimum of (15) years of experience as field technical support, in the Oil/Gas industry.
- You should have hands-on and in-depth knowledge of international standards and codes instrumentation national code (ENC) and NEMA and instrumentation/control systems such as process measurements, Relief/ control/ ESD valves, analyzers, equipment protection system (Vibration/temperature), fire systems and PLCs.
