JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit you will ensure all Internal Risk Assessments are carried out and that a thorough Internal Audit plan is developed, implemented and executed across all IT related businesses.
Additionally;
- Ensure that all working papers are prepared in line with internal standards, policies and processes.
- Present all Audit results to relevant directors and the Audit committee.
- Review all work papers delivered by the Audit engagement team ensuring it is fully compliant to the audit methodology of the firm and the regulatory requirements
- Lead and provide guidance as and when required by the audit team to successfully deliver the annual audit assignments
- Continually improve the internal audit service and standards across your business areas
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree (MIS, technology, IT, computing systems etc)
- 5+ years leading internal audit functions with IT related Audit focus
- Banking / Financial Services exposure required
- Ideally worked within a public auditing firm
