JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Company:

Our client is a leading travel retail company. They are currently looking to recruit an Inventory Controller for their office in Riyadh.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Manage all cycle and full stock counts across all locations operated by the company
• Complete regular cycle counts across all locations to ensure that stock integrity is maintained in line with tolerance levels
• Identify and suggest process improvements to ensure that the business is working to best practice standards
• Communicate with all relevant business functions promptly to escalate any potential issues and also minimize ongoing risk within the business
• Reconcile stock files and accurately complete investigations where discrepancies are identified.
• Work with the Logistics and Operational teams to ensure that stock locations are maintained in line with set expectations
• Audit stock movements, write-offs and transfers to ensure that all processes meet company process expectations and are in line with Customs audit requirements
• Complete checks on stock with expiration dates to ensure that the correct procedures are being followed to expectation
• Complete stock checks within the 3PL facility to ensure that the contractual arrangements are being met and service levels are being maintained
• Audit stock being received into the airport from the 3PL to ensure that accuracy and integrity is maintained
• Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained and suggest improvements where necessary to the Compliance Manager
• Complete any other tasks as requested by the Compliance Manager as and when requested
• Maintain good working relationships with all key stakeholders including Retail Operations, daai, RAC, Customs and other parties.
• Always follow airport regulations and procedures
• Be committed to following health and safety policy and procedures.
• The Employer will use appropriate means to record attendance. The Employee should be at their place of work, ready to start work at your normal starting time. Punctuality is an important aspect of professionalism.
• In addition, the Employee agrees to undertake such other duties assigned to him/her by the Employer, from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain management or Business Administration from an accredited university.
• Detailed understanding of MRP, ERP and inventory control management.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
