JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The IT Director is responsible for developing and managing the in-country delivery capabilities. This role is required to set standards, policies and practices ensuring that the IT service capabilities are met.
In addition, the IT Director will ensure that IT Service capabilities are cost effective and flexible by working with the relevant Group IT teams.

Description
* Provide IT leadership to the in-country teams.
* Set clear directions and goals and communicate IT performance, project milestones, SLA compliance and resource levels to in-country executive team.
* Align country IT portfolio and strategy with Global and Regional priorities.
* Provide research on potential technology solutions in support of new opportunities.
* Develop and oversee the IT Risk Management plan.
* Review and ensure all projects managed are delivered within time, cost and quality objectives, meeting service level agreements.
* Manage resources effectively to meet budgets and operation efficiency. This includes preparation and review of the annual IT budget.

REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Business Management/Administration or Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* A Master's degree in either of these fields or Master of Business Administration with technology as a core component is preferred.
* Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in managing and/or directing an IT operation and service delivery.
* Preferred candidates with relevant working experience in multi-national corporations/logistics industry
