Job Title: IT Specialist

We are looking for an internal IT Engineer to join our client's team, in this role, you will take accountability for the local IT needs by managing IT equipment deployment and analyzing and troubleshooting network systems and software (Office 365, AD, Policies, Outlook, Devices, Wifi, network admin, etc.)
You will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, configuring software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all local IT support issues under the direct supervision and coordination of the HQ IT team.
Your Impact
- Oversee network management, database administration and software development
- Manage daily operations of the IT Department
- Define network, hardware and software requirements
- Assess infrastructure to ensure IT continues to meet demands
- Develop IT procedures to increase efficiency and enhance and improve customer satisfaction and workflow
- Assist with the installation of new software and hardware and train employees on their use
- Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means
- Propose new ideas for upgrades and changes within the IT Department
- Troubleshoot (to resolution where possible) end user issues
- Install hardware and software
- Carry out administration and ongoing maintenance of the Active Directory and Exchange
- Support end user issues with Microsoft Office
Requirements:
What you should bring:- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in remote and end user support
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop computing
- Motivation to invest time in developing your technical skills
- Excellent analytical, process-oriented, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize your workloads
- Ability to work well under pressure and work to deadlines
