Job duties

• Diagnose computer problems to solve any technical issues.
• Carryout software installation for Rigs computers to ensure maximum access.
• Provide user support for the company Rigs and perform unscheduled visits when needed.
• Monitor and follow up IT hardware maintenance to troubleshoot all technology issues.
• Ensure all IT Service Desk filing system is up-to-date and properly documented to provide consistency within the IT department
• Ensure that each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, IP Phone to ensure technology is accessible.
• Use control forms to monitor and Log IT equipment movements.
• Follow up and arrange writing off junk and obsolete IT equipment to maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
• Ensure that the IT storeroom is clean and tidy at all times
• Monitor and maintain agreed levels of IT stock items (toners, CD’s etc.)
• Monitor, replace and install printers’ toners / drums.
• Mount and connect the new hardware (IP phone, Printers, screen, CPU, etc.).
• Prepare and configure the company on Loan equipment according to IT Policy.
• Follow the company Safety Management System Procedures & Instructions.
• Use Control forms (Assets Transfer) to monitor and log IT equipment movement for the company rigs hardware.
