Program summary
The Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) Laborer Foreman is responsible for supporting the Power Plant Services in providing escorting support to third country (TCN)/other country (OCN) escorting and monitoring and for the completion of required reports and tasks following the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company and the USAF.
These functions are to ensure the delivery of base operating support-installation (BOS-I) services to the 378 Air Expeditionary Wing (AEW), mission partners, and tenant units, including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel as well as five (5) remote Army sites at PSAB, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
Job summary
Assists the General Foreman by providing input to identify key success factors for labor crew. Provides leadership to cause the creation of organizational structure and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services and is responsible for the execution of labor services, quality, subcontractor performance, and construction cost. Evaluates labor service execution for compliance to contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality, advising the project team of status, issues, impacts, risk, and cost influence factors on to-go scope. Maintains the short-range look ahead plans and discusses all deviations with the General Foreman. Reviews and monitors cost and man-hour budget for installation process, develops an equipment and tool requirement plan, and reviews it with the General Foreman.
Roles and responsibilities
- Process personnel to and from the PSAB Visitors Control Center before and after work shifts in accordance with USCENTCOM escorting procedures.
- Provide escorting support to other country (OCNs) in various CES and FSS areas as identified by the Site Manager.
- Escort un-cleared personnel into areas and monitor personnel performing maintenance and BOS-I services.
- Log in and out all TCN/OCN contractors and count personnel before and after they perform duties; notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
- Make contact with TCN/OCN personnel at designated entry facility after they are processed for entry and receive their exchange badges; provide and brief them on rules and procedures.
- Monitor TCN/OCN work until it is completed for the day and the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
- Ensure TCN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband items (i.e., weapons, drugs, etc.).
- Other duties, as assigned.
Basic qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current U.S. driver's license.
- Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity and 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
- Must have and maintain a valid U.S. SECRET security clearance.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Candidate must also meet CENTCOM MOD-15 theater requirements.
Preferred qualifications
- Preferred USAF Security, Admin, and Technical AFSC or another similar Military/DOD MOS.
- Minimum 2 yearsu2019 relevant work experience delivering DOD base operating support-installation (BOS-I) or similar work in an overseas or contingency environment. USAF experience is highly desired.
