Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Landscape Inspector - GCC National to join our award-winning team in Riyadh, KSA. You will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the quality and accuracy of landscape projects on construction sites. This includes checking the implementation of landscaping plans, plantings, hardscaping elements, and irrigation systems in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and local regulations. You will work closely with landscape architects, project managers, contractors, and clients to guarantee that landscape elements are installed to the highest quality standards.

We envisage success in this role to include:

  • Attending to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
  • Verifying that all landscape materials, such as plants, soil, paving, and irrigation systems, meet the project's quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitoring the installation of irrigation systems, ensuring proper function, efficiency, and adherence to design standards.
  • Familiarity with irrigation codes, water conservation principles, and sustainable irrigation practices.
  • Ability to inspect, verify, and ensure proper installation and functionality of irrigation systems, including integration with landscape features.
  • Ensuring that plantings are installed correctly and that the selection and placement meet design specifications, local climate requirements, and sustainability goals.
  • Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
  • Reporting any works carried out by the contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and reporting to stakeholders for appropriate action.
  • Monitoring quality of works and assessing safety at the site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual/QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
  • Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensuring they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
  • Preparing surveillance reports for deficiencies of work found at site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5 years of industry experience partnered with a Bachelor in Architecture or Landscape Architecture.
