JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Senior landscape manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of outdoor spaces for hospitality projects and an extremely luxurious . They ensure that outdoor areas are aesthetically pleasing, well-maintained, and meet the needs of guests and visitors.

Description

Key responsibilities of a landscape manager include but are not limited:

* Planning and Design: collaborating with architects, contractors, and designers to develop outdoor spaces that align with the property's overall vision and aesthetic. This may include selecting plant species, choosing materials, and creating water features.
* Budgeting and Procurement: Developing and managing budgets for landscape projects, including the procurement of necessary equipment, tools, and materials.
* Management and Oversight: Hiring and managing staff, including landscape designers and maintenance crews, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
* Maintenance and Upkeep: Ensuring that outdoor areas are well-maintained and meet safety and environmental regulations. This may include managing irrigation systems, trimming trees and shrubs, and maintaining walkways and paths.
* Communication: Working with other departments, such as housekeeping and event planning, to ensure that outdoor spaces meet the needs of guests and visitors.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have:

* Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field;
* Proven experience managing large-scale landscape projects;
* Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and landscape design;
* Strong leadership and management skills;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Ability to manage budgets and work within a team.
