Key responsibilities
Lead and manage data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures across the organization.
Conduct and maintain Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
Ensure compliance with local and international privacy laws, including GDPR and the Saudi Data Protection Law.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to implement governance best practices and ensure data quality and integrity.
Support audits, compliance reviews, and reporting for regulatory bodies.
Provide training, mentorship, and advisory to internal teams on governance and compliance topics.
Qualifications & experience
7–10 years of experience in data governance/compliance, preferably in financial services.
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Strong knowledge of DPIA, RoPA, and privacy frameworks (GDPR, Saudi DPL).
Familiar with global data governance standards, including DAMA-DMBOK, ISO 38505, and ISO 27001.
Hands-on experience in implementing data protection and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications (preferred):
- CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
- CIPP/E (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe)
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or equivalent
