Lead Engineer Instrumentation Design Experience

Eram Talent is seeking an experienced lead engineer - instrumentation (design experience) to join our team in China. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design and implementation of advanced instrumentation systems, ensuring that we meet the high standards expected by our diverse clientele in various industrial sectors.

If selected, the work location would be onsite in China.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawing designs for the instrumentation and control discipline.
• Evaluate technical solutions in construction drawings to ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards.
• Review instrumentation procurement documents, conduct technical bid evaluations, and participate in supplier negotiations.
• Coordinate with system suppliers and packaged equipment vendors for technical clarifications and issue resolution.
• Supervise on-site installation and commissioning activities, providing technical solutions to emergent issues.
• Lead a team of engineers in delivering detailed engineering design services.
• Provide technical support for instrumentation, control and safety systems, as well as process control-related matters.
• Liaise with the client and project management team to coordinate and resolve technical issues related to design, procurement, and other project aspects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Over 10 years of instrumentation design experience in petrochemical projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD and SPI software.
• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in Saudi Aramco projects, familiar with Aramco standards and Middle East project execution workflows.
• Demonstrated experience in resolving instrumentation design issues on international projects.
• Possess detailed design management experience in the instrumentation discipline.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English as a working language.
• Willing to be assigned to work in China.
