JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Description

- Work closely with Logistics of different suppliers / carriers to assure efficient and effective execution of defined processes and goods transportation
- Keep hard copy and electronic documentation supporting order fulfillment, distribution means, pricing, and contractual obligations
- Initiate overcharge/undercharge freight bill claims with carriers and tracks reconciliation of the same per regulatory standards
- Re-route freight is needed to meet demands and minimize costs
- Initiate shrink threshold and loss claims with warehouse providers and track reconciliation of the same per contract standards
- Ensure accuracy of physical inventory order sequence by entering inter-company purchase orders and inter-company transfers into the system following defined processes
- Provide support to multiple LoBs within the organization
- Review projects implementation plans with Operation teams when needed against outstanding orders and deliveries to take action to expedite inbound shipments to meet projects implementation plans and customer demand
- Ensure that goods are shipped in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, selecting the mode of transportation, tendering the order for transportation, and tracking the shipment from pick-up through delivery, including customs clearance, and all the time targeting cost reduction, freight savings, service and contractual requirements
- Assemble load fragments into consolidated loads thus balancing freight savings, service and contractual / legal requirements.
- Follow up with the Customs Supervisor till the shipment is released
- Coordinate and arrange with Purchasing and LoBs' teams delivery of all items defined in issued Purchase Order, according to delivery terms and conditions defined in PO and as per projects implementation plans
- Coordinate daily activities to track location and transportation of goods and materials (including Customs clearance), to be received from vendor (s) / Giza Systems warehouse / site (s), and delivered to customer(s) / Giza Systems warehouse / site (s), via transportation means
- Coordinate delivery schedules with customers externally and operations team internally
- Coordinate with the storekeeper the delivery of the released items to the warehouse.

Requirements:
Personal Skills:
- Very good supervisory skills
- Very good communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent command of English

Technical Skills:
- Have a good experience with Saber, CITC regulations and Bayanexperience with route planning, carrier selection, freight, and shipment tracking.
- Knowledge of relevant transportation regulations, international shipping (Incoterms), and customs procedures.
- Awareness of emerging technologies in logistics
