Description
The logistics coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of products through the supply chain, ensuring efficient transportation, compliance with regulations, and optimal customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Handle export documentation and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to provide shipping updates and resolve any issues.
- Monitor shipments and prepare reports on logistics metrics such as freight costs and delivery times.
- Collaborate with the warehousing team to optimize storage and inventory deployment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of shipping and export laws and regulations.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
