Logistics Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

This role will be responsible for overseeing the warehousing operations for multiple distribution centres across western region. Working mainly in warehouse settings and to service multiple outlets for a multidisciplinary healthcare service provider.

The client is a multidisciplinary hospital and healthcare service provider that operates a network of hospitals and speciality clinics across the western region of Saudi Arabia.

Description

* Direct and coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.
* Initiated meetings with the wider logistics team continuously enhance operations and the work environment inside the warehouses.
* Provide detailed guidance on the type of pallets required and optimal distribution of items within vehicles to facilitate punctual and efficient offloading procedures during shipments.
* Supervise inventory management and order fulfilment processes for all warehouses.
* Manage Warehouse Management System (WMS) by selecting the right service providers to enhance the put-away and picking practices.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in coordinating warehousing/logistics operations.
* Experience in managing Cold Chain logistics activity (Dry, Chilled, and Frozen goods).
* Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, and Medical Equipment vertical experience.
