***Clarification on SMP Contract: It is Supplementary Manpower service contract job in which prospective applicants are interviewed and salary determined by NEOM interview panel; and being employed under the payroll of SMP Contract (SMP Vendor). Successfully mobilized candidates would be under the visa sponsorship of SMP Vendor Company/Contract.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Technician specializing in Building Automation Control System will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and troubleshooting of various control systems, such as Building Management System, Energy Management System, Lighting Control System, Fire Alarm System, and SCADA System. Focusing on implementing tasks and procedures to ensure the continuous functionality and efficiency of control systems within our facilities. In addition to routine maintenance and calibrating field devices and transmitters, as well as ensuring the integrity of backup files for each hardware component.

The Maintenance Coordinator – Building Automation Systems SMP responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Key Accountabilities
Systems Maintenance and Repair:
• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building automation control systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to Building Automation and Process Control Systems.
• Replace faulty components, sensors, actuators, and controllers as needed to restore system functionality.
• implement preventive maintenance schedules for building automation control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues before they escalate into major problems.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and system performance data for analysis and planning.
• Perform calibration procedures on field devices, sensors, actuators, and transmitters to maintain accurate measurements and control system feedback.
• Utilize calibration tools and equipment to verify the accuracy of temperature sensors, pressure transducers, flow meters, and other critical components, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Document calibration activities, including calibration dates, results, and any adjustments made, to maintain a comprehensive record of equipment status and compliance with calibration standards.
• Maintain a systematic approach to backing up control system configurations, programs, databases, and firmware for each hardware component.
Emergency Response and Support:
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and system alarms, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Coordinate with the other service providers or contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks as needed.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of Control Systems components, configurations, and procedures to ensure replicability and consistency.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on Control Systems maintenance and challenges to senior management.

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of Building Automation and Process Control Systems
• Proficiency in working with control systems is fundamental.
• Understanding networking concepts and protocols relevant to Building Automation Systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.

Qualifications:
• Diploma’s degree in engineering, or related field including Building Automation Control Systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• 7y+ experience of relevant experience.
