Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD).

The GMSD is responsible for providing the technical consultations, operational support and troubleshooting, benchmarking, building strategies, business planning, and conducting assessment in the areas of safety and environmental compliance, cyber security, advance process control and optimizations, energy and electrical efficiency, process engineering, reliability and maintenance, operational excellence etc. GMSD is also instrumental to the implementation of digital transformation program of Saudi Aramco.

Your primary role will be to develop and coordinate maintenance programs, procedures and systems throughout the Maintenance activity and appraises the effectiveness of their application. You will plan, schedule and assure completion of assigned maintenance work for a given maintenance area or maintenance function.

Key Responsibilities

As the successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:

Develop maintenance processes in line with TPRM such as preventive maintenance, organization, worker level job structure, manpower utilization and construction equipment requirements and utilization. Appraises and prepares reports on the effectiveness of such processes.

Assists the line Maintenance organizations in the implementation of approved programs such TPRM by furnishing information, authoritative interpretation, operating pilot runs, conducting training sessions and analyzing accountability and progress reports.

Leads a team which is responsible for field-wide planning, scheduling execution of all major T&Is. Develop maintenance programs for preventive maintenance, scheduling of equipment and manpower, requirements for new equipment and review technical aspects of budgets and accountability.

Consults with and advises operating personnel to determine maintenance requirements and establish priorities for maintenance work. Recommends work which can be economically assigned to contractor organizations and develops scope of work.

Reports to concerned Maintenance Supervisor on quality and quantity of workmanship and adherence to standards within assigned areas and recommends improved work methods. Recommends and justifies the use of overtime to meet scheduled project completions.

Ensures that periodic maintenance is performed in accordance with vendor recommendations and Aramco procedures and that maintenance logs and records are maintained. Reviews Project Proposals to assure that maintenance aspects are considered in final design

Review the MIR and investigate to determine causes for variation between Target and Actual and makes recommendations leading to improvement of Performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

As the successful candidate your will hold a bachelor degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

You will have a minimum of 10 years' work experience in refining

Special Field of Experience: practical knowledge and experience in maintenance methods and practices specially in the oil refining business.
