JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhauling of heavy equipment and earthmoving machinery, including engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in earthmoving equipment and strong leadership skills to ensure optimal equipment performance and team efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and lead a team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders.
• Oversee diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic systems, as well as mechanical and electrical components.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
• Ensure all machinery is operating safely, efficiently, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and standards.
• Provide technical training and guidance to technicians, especially on hydraulic system maintenance and repairs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational support.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Technician in heavy equipment maintenance.• Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, heavy machinery, and mechanical/electrical components.
• Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment maintenance.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in industrial settings.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is an advantage.
• Arabic language is a plus, but not required.
Salary:
SAR
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
