Manager, Strategic Planning - Real Estate Development - Riyadh

Lead the strategic planning initiatives on departmental and corporate level to identify and formulate best in class strategies, revise business plans and milestones, monitor budgeting and financial performance with efficient reporting to support the achievement of overall organisational strategy.

Manager, Strategic Planning - Real Estate Development - Riyadh

Generic Responsibilities

Strategy Development, Planning and/or Contribution
- Develop and update the department strategy ensuring alignment to divisional strategy, vision, mission, and corporate objectives.

People Management
- Coordinate with other team members on the effective achievement of department objectives through effective leadership and by setting of individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating team to maximise performance.

Budgeting and Financial Performance
- Oversee the consolidation and recommend the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalised upon.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Assist in the development of departmental policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned department so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service in a consistent manner.

Change Management
- Lead the management of change through continuous improvement of departmental systems, processes and practices considering global standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

Reporting
- Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet the requirements, policies, and quality standards.

Job Specific - Strategic Planning
- Lead the research activities in order to formulate clear and actionable insights to keep the management informed about the main challenges and opportunities facing the industry in the market.
- Supervise the formulation of the corporate strategy in collaboration with the various leaders, this includes defining the vision, mission, objectives, and priorities in order to achieve the Board of Director's overall vision.
- Facilitate the socialisation of the approved corporate strategy with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of the strategic direction.
- Revise business plans and objectives regarding all aspects of operations and translate the strategic business plans into measurable and specific actions to achieve the overall organisational strategy.
- Verify the identification and analysis of internal and external challenges and strategic opportunities to assess the impact of the challenges and take the required strategic actions accordingly.
- Guide the development of a standardised approach, framework, methodology, and tools to develop functional strategies as well as strategic and operational plans that are aligned to the corporate strategy.
- Provide support and guidance to function heads for the development of short-term and long-term functional strategic business plans and collaborate with department heads to cascade departmental strategies.
- Provide input and liaise with other functions for the preparation and development of all corporate reports, documentation, and presentations
- Ensure that the strategy is reviewed and updated as needed to assist in creating action plans and mitigation steps to address deviations/gaps based on the internal and external assessments.
- Develop summary reports, white papers, annual publications on various topics to shed light on existing and potential opportunities that will drive sustainable growth.
