Overview

The Base Oils & Finished Lubricants Department (BOFL) is the proponent of Aramco's Base Oils and Lubricants businesses. The department's aim is to expand Aramco's presence in the hydrocarbon value chain via base oils and lubricants with a vision to be among the leading global Base Oils & Lubricants companies, dedicated to build long-term value for our customers and society through sustainable operations and innovation. The department manages marketing and branding activities which includes development of: brand guidelines, communications strategy and creative marketing and communication messages and platforms. In addition, the department is responsible for strategy and business development, including investment and M&A activities. BOFL also includes a technical division which oversee the Base Oils and Lubricants technical programs, specifications and formulations as per industry standards with the highest approvals.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support strategic communication planning and execution.
- Manage internal and external communications through strong partnerships with management, affiliate network, key stakeholders, corporate communications,
- Train, coach, support and develop communications staff as assigned.
- Provide integrated marketing support to strategic initiatives, core messaging and key projects.
- Present corporate Image effectively, and thorough knowledge and interest in industry public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, and industry trends world-wide.
- Set, review, publish and deploy communications procedures, guidelines, as required.
- Coordinate with internal and external organizations to develop more robust online content and social media messaging.
- Develop, deploy and monitor public relations efforts, social media coverage and international media opportunities that support and market BOFL objectives.
- Develop a Core Messaging Plan to support clear and consistent messaging to the business
- Provide ad-hoc, high-level, communications support.
- Management of branding and marketing agencies.
- Support marketing, communications and public relations functions within the department.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
- University degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration or Public Relations.
- Excellent command of oral and written English; Arabic is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years' experience in Marketing and Communications. Experience in Base Oils and Finished Lubricants businesses is preferable.
- Good command of both written and spoken English, particularly as related to the requirements of journalism and marketing/advertising; good command of terminology used in fields such as petroleum technology and engineering, and Base Oils and Finished Lubricants. Ability to write clear, concise reports and manuscripts for publications and other communications.
- International work experience & ability to engage different cultures and people from different backgrounds.
- High standards of character and personal habits.
- Present the corporate image effectively, and thorough knowledge and interest in industry public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, and industry trends world-wide.
