JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Material Planner is responsible for ensuring that raw materials and other components required for production are available in sufficient quantities and at the right time. They also coordinate with suppliers and other internal teams to manage inventory levels, monitor demand and supply trends, and maintain accurate records of material transactions.

Description

* Forecasting and analyzing demand for materials to ensure optimal inventory levels.
* Planning and scheduling material deliveries to meet production requirements.
* Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues.
* Monitoring inventory levels and identifying potential shortages or excesses.
* Collaborating with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure efficient material flow.
* Maintaining accurate records of inventory transactions and material usage.
* Evaluating supplier performance and managing relationships.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize material planning and inventory management.
* Managing obsolescence and disposal of materials.
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in related field.
* Minimum 5 years of material planning experience within the oil and gas sector.
