JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspection Engineer to join our client, a world leading NOC in Dhahran. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of mechanical equipment and systems through thorough inspections and assessments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our operations in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical equipment and systems to identify any defects, damages, or potential issues.
- Develop and implement inspection procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Analyze inspection data and reports to provide recommendations for maintenance, repair, or replacement of mechanical components.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and execute preventive maintenance plans for mechanical systems.
- Participate in audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external stakeholders regarding mechanical inspection and maintenance activities.
- Document and maintain comprehensive records of inspection findings, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve inspection processes and techniques.

Requirements:

- 4 year Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection and maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials used in oil and gas facilities.
- Certification in relevant inspection methods and techniques, such as API 510, API 570, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical integrity and inspection, such as ASME, ANSI, and API codes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical data and make sound recommendations.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards in all inspection activities.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and software for data analysis and reporting.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
