This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

Job Summary:

Designs architectural systems projects to concept stage meeting business, statutory legal and contractual requirements with an ensuing role of mechanical public health ensuring that the design principles are maintained by the contractor through the developed design and construction.
Responsible for supporting (area/discipline/specialism), using sound technical/functional capabilities.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Develops and manages planning applications and building regulation applications.
• Seeks opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
• Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manages stakeholders.
• Manages deliverables through direct reports.
• Provides designs and manages the developing design as per contract requirements.
• Collaborates with the wider design disciplines, client personnel and construction teams.
• Assists with the production of reporting information.
• Attends/participates in client meetings and design workshops as necessary.
• Monitors work outputs to ensure it is timely, in scope and of a quality expected.
• Engages with business improvement directives.
• Works collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

REQUIREMENTS

• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 12+ years of experience, with at least 6 + years in a relevant role per client’s requirements.
• Good knowledge of Office 365 suite of tools.
• Good organisational skills making meeting arrangements, planning own work.
• Ability to use initiative and to make appropriate decisions.
• Good communications skills.
• Arabic language knowledge is a significant advantage.
