WSP is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team for an exciting airport project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning, design, and execution of MEP systems, ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Your new role, what's involved?
• MEP System Design: Lead the design and development of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for the airport project.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that MEP systems comply with project specifications, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge and expertise in MEP systems, with a strong focus on airports and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of MEP engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Client Engagement: Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Project Management: Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to monitor and assess the performance of MEP systems and troubleshoot any issues.
• Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to relevant codes, regulations, and standards, including those specific to airport projects.
• Health and Safety: Prioritize safety in all project activities, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and project records.
Requirements:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• More than 12 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong focus on airports and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of international MEP standards and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Valid professional license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
