MEP Manager - Riyadh Metro

Cavendish Professionals is currently working with the principal European contractor, who is the lead in one of the main consortiums responsible for the construction of three of the six Metro lines, part of the Metro Project.

Cavendish Professionals is looking for an MEP Manager for Line 4 of the Riyadh Metro.

Job purpose:
* To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of MEP works & also meeting consistency with CJV strategy, commitments and goals.
* Manage and administer all aspects of a project including estimating, scheduling, progress measurement, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost studies, safety and proposal preparation.

FUNCTIONS:
* Expert know-how of the entire MEP part of construction projects in all its aspects: design, function, installations and coordination with other trades.
* Lead and Mentor a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers on site.
* Responsible for overall plan, design/engineering /coordination and implementation / execution of respective MEP services including control and monitoring of progress.
* Coordinate the MEP design and execution between design office and contractors/subcontractors.
* Provide the planning input for the MEP works and Monitor Planning vs. Progress on site.
* Document project progress and/or delays through letters which can be used as contractual aids during disputes.
* Responsibilities of managing the all Managers/Engineers/Sub-contractors and shall cover complete MEP systems.
* Able to review resource reports like manpower histograms, plant and machinery schedule and ascertain adequacy of resources deployed for timely completion of the project.
* Audit the performance, review and certify the monthly invoicing of the contractors/subcontractors.
* Implement and follow proper QA/QC procedures by maintaining and following Project QA/QC Manual.
* Oversee and enforce the implementation of HSE by MEP Contractors.
* To ensure compliance of construction activity to best industry standards, international codes, planned timelines, allotted budget, company strategy and goals.
* Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Project Director.
