JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• To lead the MEP team, external consultant(s) and contractor(s) and manage design and execution of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting work activities for the assigned project(s) to ensure the completion of project(s) as per the project management parameters (time, cost, quality & scope).

REQUIREMENTS

Project Execution & Management
• Lead the management of MEP projects internally and coordinate the integration of MEP into the design and execution of other projects within the company
• Manage, monitor and control the progress of MEP projects delivered by the contractor(s) and the consultant(s) in order to ensure that the project specifications and approved parameters are met in line with agreed project objectives e.g. time, costs and quality
• Review and recommend the technical aspects of any change requests/ variations based on a study of such documented variation requests in order to proceed with the change and the variation in costs or timelines
• Oversee building permit applications for the area of work and manage relationships with appropriate
• Government authorities for approvals; Provide necessary clarifications leveraging support of the MEP team/ consultant (s) to ensure timely approval
• Supervise project execution including site visits and inspection to ensure compliance to design material and requirements and completion of MEP projects as per approved plan and quality standards
• Coordinate with consultant (s), contractor (s) and internal teams to resolve conflicts amongst various parties in project execution
