JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
An excellent opportunity for a Microbiology Lecturer to work with a fantastic healthcare organisation located in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. My clients are the largest healthcare organisation in the Kingdom with superb educational opportunities and facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• You will advise students on academic and vocational curricula and on career issues.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
• Continuous developments in Microbiology by reading current literature, talking with colleagues, and participating in professional conferences.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate or graduate students on topics such as microbiology, medicine, immunology, biology and other relevant subjects.
• Conduct research in a particular field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media.
• Review papers for publication in journals.
• Perform administrative duties and assisting head of department.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful Microbiology Lecturer will have a Masters of Science in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry or Applied Sciences with focused study on Microbiology, Biology and Molecular Biology.
You must have a minimum of four (4) years experience.
