JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Will perform Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support/augmentation to include: Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance, and repair of aircraft. Position requires a skilled Non-Destructive Technician with the ability to perform multiple formats of logistics supply chain management to include military supply codes and civilian transport. Organizational, Intermediate, and Depot level experience are desired to inspect, repair, remove, replace aeronautical system parts and components. Requires skill in database management, repairable documentation procedures, Support Equipment management, tools and tool room management, HAZMAT procedures, and precision calibration tools tracking.

Shall work in specialized shops associated with fixed base operations Field Level maintenance as well as perform troubleshooting, testing, maintenance repairs and Technical Directive compliance on the H-60 Airframe in Saudi Arabia .

Essential Responsibilities:

NDI/NDT Level 2 Inspector/Technician/Trainer - Level 2 individuals shall:

Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDI/NDT method(s) as utilized by Williams International.

Be capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDI/NDT facility and staff.

Be capable of selecting the method and technique for a specific inspection. Be capable of preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures in the method certified.

Approve NDI/NDT procedures and other NDI/NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy in the method in which they are certified.

Have a general knowledge of other NDI/NDT methods and product technologies used by Williams International.

Conduct NDI/NDT for acceptance of parts only when a demonstration of proficiency in this capability was included in the practical examination.

May be required to overhaul, repair parts, accessories, and components of hydraulic systems, environmental control systems, flight control systems, and vent systems. Visually checks components to locate worn, dirty, or poorly adjusted parts and accessories. Corrects problems by removing, cleaning, reinstalling, or replacing defective parts, e.g., bad actuators, corroded fuel lines, etc. Looks up replacement parts in manuals or compares with samples. Obtains standard parts that are identified.

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and skill in the use of standard and specialized tools and test equipment of the trade including fixtures, templates, scales, test stands and external power sources.

High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum five (5) years documented experience (Process Logs) documenting performed NDI inspection tasks of aircraft and aircraft components relative to the inspection, modification and repair of military aircraft is required.

Must meet Level 2 qualification process hour standards in accordance with National Aerospace Standard 410 (NAS410) in Eddy Current, Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant disciplines.

Must have ability to successfully pass Company Level 2 written and practical certification examinations and eye examination as outlined in NAS410.

Must demonstrate skills and knowledge to set up, calibrate and operate equipment, conduct inspections and to interpret, evaluate and document results in accordance with procedures approved and utilized by the appropriate Level III or Government customer agency.

Shall be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which they are certified and shall be capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel. The individual shall be able to organize and document NDI results.

The individual shall be familiar with the codes, standards, process controls and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the Company or customer agency.

Knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned inspection/maintenance tasks is mandatory.

5 years Level II experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass any medical

examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.

May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

May be required to see aircraft in flight, read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.

Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.

Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.

Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.

May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.
