JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Operations Director - Hypermarkets - Saudi Arabia
Our client is the one of the leading supermarket & hypermarket businesses in the Middle East.
Reporting to the GM, your primary responsibilities as an Operations Director will be to:
- Oversee the operations of 7-10 hypermarkets in a province in Saudi Arabia
- Supervise all store operations based on the goals, objectives, and standards of
the organization.
- Manage a direct team of Area Operations Managers and indirectly a team of Hypermarket Managers
- Establish organizational goals, performance objectives, guidelines and best
practices and strive towards achieving them
- Oversee, assist, and supervise all managers in planning and
performance to achieve all goals and objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of all annual budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in managing the operations of multiple hypermarkets
- Evidence of growing and expanding a successful hypermarket chain
- Experience in successfully managing large teams
- Willing to be based in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
