JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Operations Manager – Riyadh, Saudi (Investment Bank)

Role: Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for managing the Middle Office and Operations of the Firm.

Responsibilities:
• Confirm Trades with Brokers on Trade Dates. Instruct Trades to Custodian/Administrator and communicate all Settlement information.
• Resolve any unmatched / Failed Trades. Resolve any Trade related queries with both internal and external parties
• Ensure accurate Portfolio Positions are reflected on the Internal Systems
• Working with Administrator and Prime Broker/Custodian to investigate Trade & Cash Breaks
• Maintain a Database of Accounts, Clients and Custodian details
• Track and Monitor Corporate Actions Processing
• Reporting and Management of Daily Stock Loan Positions if any
• Operational and Legal Assistance. Ensuring CMA Reporting deadlines are met.
• Maintenance and Review of Existing Trading Account Relationships.
• Responsible for prioritizing and opening of multiple Brokerage Accounts, Currency Cash Accounts, and Trading Lines; requiring thorough understanding relevant Compliance Documentation.
• Maintains knowledge of current techniques and trends and investigating New Technologies as directed and appropriate
• Review current Process for Trade Management, make suggestion to Improve Processing efficiency and lead implementation
• Lead Selection/Testing and implementation of new Order Management Systems and Software
• Assist in Launching and Listing New Funds to be launched
• Liaising with the Legal Advisors, Consultants, Custodians, Brokers, Banks, Auditors and any other Professional Service providers.
• Ensure the Fund Operations and Trade aligned with Investment Guidelines
• In Charge of the Setup of the Operation Procedures and Process
• Registrar duties (maintaining a Register of Investors in the Funds)
• Prepare Regular Position Reporting and Portfolio Analysis
• Work with other Investment Operations departments and Investment Teams to improve processing efficiency
• Maintain and record all Formation Documents, Prime Brokerage and Brokerage and Custody Accounts, ISDAs and Give-up Agreements for all Managed Accounts.
• Respond to queries raised by Portfolio Managers/Brokers/Custodians/other Investment Operations departments

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree, Masters or MBA preferred.
• CME1 will be required to be taken
• Seeking minimum 6 years relevant experience. Saudi or GCC Nationals Male or Female
• Must have relevant Asset Management / Brokerage Operations experience
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
