JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
• Packaged equipment engineer having a proven track record in major Energy & Chemical projects
• Professional background working on mechanical packaged equipment.
• Establish equipment requirements and prepare equipment data sheets, material requisitions for inquiry & purchase .
• Provide equipment sizing and application support to project development or process.
• Develop and review equipment.
• Participate in supplier bid/ contractor proposal clarification, negotiation, and/ or award meetings.
• Review of supplier documents to ensure compliance with specifications and project requirements.
• Liaison with other engineering disciplines for the integration of packaged equipment into overall plant design.
• Liaison with Supplier and Client on resolving technical and commercial issues.
• Participate in equipment modeling activities and review
• Support engineering design reviews for HAZOP, Plot Plan, P&ID, Value Engineering and Constructability.
• Provide consultation during fabrication and witness testing of equipment.
• Participate in equipment inspections/ FAT as required.
• Candidate should have strong knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards, good knowledge of main components of package equipment (i.e. vessels, exchangers, pumps/compressors, piping, motors and instruments).
• Possess knowledge of design of equipment through all stages of a project from conceptual phase to design development, construction, and commissioning.
• Worked with well-known EPC Companies on FEED and EPC Projects.
Requirements:
Basic Requirements:• Minimum BSc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 12 years of related experience in handling packaged equipment within Engineering Contractor(s) or End-users
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO and PIP

• GCC Experience working with renowned Clients
Salary:
SAR
15,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
