Job Description

Job Purpose

- The main purpose of the Payroll Accountant's job is to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of payroll calculations and accounting entry

Principal Accountabilities

- Collects, computes, and validates payroll data prepared by the BUs / JVs / CHO departments including salary, variable and incentive pay
- Obtains and integrates all data which impacts payroll calculation to ensure timely and accurate payroll execution
- Ensures all payroll journals are free of errors
- Makes all necessary payroll accounting entries on the system
- Reviews and validates the payroll journal and communicates it on time and accurately to Treasury for execution
- Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager
- capable to handle payroll more than 1000 employees

Communications and Working Relationships

- Liaises with the different HR Business Partners and Payroll Officers to ensure that payroll data is processed and submitted on time
- Coordinates closely with Treasury to ensure timely payroll execution
- Reports to the HR IS / Payroll Controller on all issues related to payroll

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in HR / Finance / Accounting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- 3 to10 years of experience as a Payroll Officer or Accountant within a company of Rawabi Holding's size or larger
- Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS office applications and basic software applications, and familiarity with the internet and email communications. ERP knowledge is a plus
- Previous experience in the GCC is a plus, especially if the experience was in Saudi Arabia
- English language fluency required - Arabic language proficiency required
