JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Site Planning Director is responsible for leading the Program/District planning team and ensuring implementation of all planning, reporting, and controls governance documents across the related projects/District. Also responsible to lead the District planning team effort to understand the critical path, schedule masterplan, preparing/overseeing the progress updates, reporting requirements, etc.

Our client is involved in one of the biggest real estate developments in the KSA region with a focus on various different asset classes across a large area. The different asset classes include Cultural and Historical, Retail and Lifestyle, Hospitality, Education and Live and Work.
Description
* Develop/ oversee the development of Working Programmes in line with the business execution strategy and in coordination with the development and delivery.
* Support the Senior Projects Controls Director by establishing and maintaining a reporting system (KPI's) to monitor the performance against achieving the objectives.
* Provide/ review the schedule analysis, forecasts and what if scenarios required to support the strategic planning.
* Direct the activities of the planning team to ensure that all work is carried out efficiently in line with the strategic project management plans, policies, and procedures.
* Build and lead motivated, engaged, and competent planning team by setting clear targets, objectives, and KPIs against an agreed road map, and provide the required mentoring and coaching to meet the Masterplan challenges and goals.
* Lead by Example and act as a role model across the Organization to spread awareness and commitment to the vision, mission, values, fundamentals.

Requirements:
* The successful candidate will be strong in Planning with a focus on large and complex projects.* Strong leadership skills and management skills are required.
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
* Master's degree in Project Management is preferred
* A minimum of 20 years of overall experience in the Construction / Real Estate Development industry with 10 years of experience in a managerial role
* Experience in Project Delivery from Inception to Completion
* Experience in large, mixed use construction projects and mega infrastructure projects in the region with strong knowledge of the industry planning practices, (preferable)
