JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Role Title: Planning Engineer (MUST BE BASED IN SAUDI)

Role Purpose:
To assist in the production of MEP Construction Programme, Reports, Schedules, S-Curves and any other Project Planning / Control tools required to facilitate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities in accordance with MEP Construction Programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor site progress against constructional periodic programmes in consultation with Construction Engineers.
* Preparation of variances for different phases of project.
* Implement Earned Value Analysis techniques. Regular progress monitoring on site of actual progress for all disciplines.
* Prepare and update record of marked drawings for actual progress monitoring in coordination with construction engineer.
* Record of actual progress against target programme.
* Predict completion dates and prepare Look-ahead reports.
* Preparation of Sub Contractor programmes.
* Monitor subcontract work against programmes.
* Report on subcontract progress.
* Prepare, monitor and revise working programmes for Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning activities.
* Preparation of delay assessment sheets.
* Daily updating of several registers such as EOT Claims, Drawings Registers, Event Logs or any other register as instruct by management.
* Preparation of entitlement programmes for EOT Claims based on issued Delay Notices.
* Preparation of Progress Reports and S-Curves.
* Prepare and update all project logs EIs, RFIs, IRs, Shop Drawings, Procurement Schedule, EOT Claims log or any other logs as instructed by the management.
* Assist Project Manager and Planning & Cost Control Manager in the preparation of MEP construction programme.
* Any other project related work assigned by Project Manager and Planning & Cost Control Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
* Must have degree qualified with overseas experience preferred.
* Minimum 5 years relevant experience with 3 years planning experience in Building Services Construction industry.
* Must be independent, resourceful and good team player.
* Good initiative, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
* Able to use Primavera P6 on advance level.
* Able to use MS-Office package especially MS-Excel on advance level.
* Able to write clear and concise technical reports for the management.
* Nationality Preference: Indian, Filipino or Pakistani - MUST BE BASED IN SAUDI.
* Experience: 3 to 5 years in MEP Construction with MEP Contractors as Planning Engineer.
* Qualification: Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Electrical.
* Tentative positions to be hired: 5+ (tentatively depending upon award of upcoming projects).
* Advance Skills: Excellent writing / communication skills, Primavera P6, Advance Excel and PMP.
* Salary Ranges: From 8,500 SAR to 11,000 SAR (Gross) depending upon candidates profile
