Planning Manager - Supply Chain
Location - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Job Purpose
As the Planning Manager, within the Supply Chain you will be responsible for the control and coordinate of all supply chain and planning activities, including materials, production, and distribution budget and forecast planning, ensuring secure short and long-term plans.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
* Participate in the formulation and implementation of departmental plans to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy and business plans.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are met.
Operational Management
* Manage day-to-day operations by facilitating professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
* Prepare the department budget, monitor financial performance against the budget, and identify areas of unsatisfactory performance.
* Set individual objectives, manage performance, develop and motivate staff, and provide regular feedback to maximise employee performance.
Supply Chain and Sourcing
* Analyse supply markets, identify potential suppliers, and establish strategic sourcing agreements.
* Develop and execute material, production, and distribution plans, revising them as needed due to design changes, labour or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, in collaboration with relevant departments.
Capacity and Inventory Management
* Develop and maintain the Capacity Planning Tool (CPT), ensuring it is updated with all factors affecting supply and demand outlook.
* Manage master data to ensure accurate long and short-term planning.
* Control overall inventory to maintain optimum stock levels based on monthly company targets.
* Oversee company value streams (purchase orders and work orders) to achieve targeted turnaround times.
Quality and Compliance
* Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
* Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality product/service delivery, and a responsible environmental attitude.
Collaboration and Reporting
* Work closely with relevant departments to measure and improve demand and supply planning.
* Provide root cause analysis on service losses from level 1 to level 4.
* Prepare timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
Requirements:
Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a specialised subject.
* A minimum of 8 years of work experience, with at least 4 years in relevant functions.
* Position open only to Saudi Nationals.
