JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art tissue production facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paper manufacturing processes, specifically within tissue production. You will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing operations, enhancing product quality, and implementing innovative technologies to improve efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize production processes in the tissue manufacturing line to improve yield and efficiency.
- Design and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Maintenance, and Production, to troubleshoot issues and ensure consistent product quality.
- Conduct data analysis and use statistical methods to monitor process performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations across all production processes.
- Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment and technologies within the facility.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and plant operators on process improvements and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the paper or tissue manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficient in process simulation software and data analysis tools, such as Minitab or similar.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within teams and cross-functional departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance practices within manufacturing operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
