JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Expediting Manager has a pivotal role responsible for managing and overseeing the post-order activities of all projects across the globe. This role is involves leading a team of expediters located in Chennai and Dammam. The Expediting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient post-order management of raw material purchases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining the timely progress of projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for the leading the complete post order management of all Raw Material Purchases
• Lead, Mentor and Coach the team of Procurement Specialists of Order Management Cell.
• Develop the project material plan encompassing the timelines for MR Releases, PO Placements, Material Delivery and Logistics.
• Responsible for collaboration with Sourcing Cell, PMT and Engineering for timely ordering of material as per the project plan.
• Prepare the project expediting plan along with the Project Manager and ensure adherence through regular monitoring and status reports.
• Ensure that the vendors are performing as per the terms and conditions of purchase order in general
• Ensure timely submission of engineering documents and status reports by suppliers
• Monitor the performance of suppliers and ensure that the manufacturing is progressing as per the agreed delivery schedule.
• Escalate any deviations or challenges to key stakeholders for immediate resolution
• Ensure timely and accurate updating of procurement status reports.
• Coordinate with QC department for inspection
• Prepare the material shipment plan as per the project requirement
• Manage the Complete inbound logistics function including vendor finalization and KPI monitoring.
• Provide feedback on the performance of the suppliers to the Sourcing Cell.
• Ensure that the departmental KPI’s are met and submit regular reports.

Requirements:

Salary:
SAR 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
