JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Procurement team is responsible for managing procurement and contracting services for high-volume and high-value procurements for a large project in Saudi Arabia. The functions of the team include: developing and reviewing procurement processes, developing local and international contracts, overseeing ordering, reporting on procurement timelines and managing vendor relationships.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Development and review of procurement policies and processes.
• Development of contract templates.
• Ensure procurement and contract timelines are met.
• Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices and value for money.
• Identify and researches potential new local and international suppliers.
• Manage and supervise other members of the team and the delegation of work among team members.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders and providers.
• Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidates for the role of Procurement Manager must have experience in providing high volume procurements within tight deadlines.

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in major procurements in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Experience in developing procurement policies and processes to support a Government agency.
• Ability to work in a changing and at times ambiguous environment and manage competing timeframes and priorities.
• Experience in developing and managing complex requirements for procurements and RFP processes.
• Sustain productive working relationships with other team members.
• Strong written and oral Arabic and English communication skills.
