A leading construction and contracting company based in Riyadh, known for delivering outstanding building, hotel, and road projects across Saudi Arabia, are seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager with a minimum of 15 years of contracting experience to join their dynamic team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for our diverse projects.

Job Description:

As the Procurement Manager, you will lead the procurement function, overseeing the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the successful completion of our building, hotel, and road projects. Your extensive experience in contracting and project management will be critical in driving cost savings, maintaining quality, and meeting project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with project objectives and cost-saving goals.
• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions, while minimizing risks and costs.
• Budget Control: Manage procurement budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-effective procurement practices.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with project managers and quality control teams to ensure that materials and services meet or exceed project specifications.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential procurement risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project continuity.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement processes adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering their growth and development.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies to inform procurement decisions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in procurement and contracting within the construction industry, with a focus on buildings, hotels, sports, and road projects.
• GCC experience is required
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabia's procurement regulations and industry standards.
• Proven track record in negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management is advantageous.

Salary:
SAR 40,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Negotiable depending on experience
