JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Production Director will be responsible for planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing and installation process. He will be handling annual factory output of about SAR 100 mn. In addition, he will be responsible for transforming the fabrication operations and ensuring automation, optimization of operations while reducing costs. The responsibility will involve closely working with different functions especially management and sales.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, oversee and execute the automation planning of operations.
* Work closely with management to plan and execute company goals.
* Manage the liaising among different departments for smooth functioning, e.g. sales and customer service.
* Draw up the production schedule, oversee the production process and manage the daily and monthly targets.
* Manage the productivity and efficiency of production operations and ensure that they are cost effective.
* Responsible for ensuring the quality of production and installation of the products.
* Responsible for managing the human and material resources required.
* Manage the training needs of the workers, installers and supervisors and also those of sales teams.
* Keep their self updated about the latest innovations and technologies in the furniture industry to oversee product development in collaboration with other departments.
* Monitor and adjust the production timelines as needed.
* Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment.
* Monitor product standards and implement the quality-control programmes on the shop floors and on the customer sites.
* Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
* Monitor and facilitate the overall fabrication and installation of the jobs to customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent.
* Master of Business Administration preferred.

Experience:

* Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership position in the high-end Modular Furniture industry (especially wardrobes and kitchens).
* Demonstrated ability to develop plans & strategies, presentations and proposals.
* Prior experience in Greenfield venture setup is preferred.
* Strong ability to coordinate between different departments.
* Strong oral and communication skills.
