JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Project Director - Commercial Offices - 20+ Years - Riyadh, KSA

Responsible for leading and managing all construction activities related to commercial office projects (G+70)

Coordinate with project teams, PMCs and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

Client Details

Our client is a leading mixed use giga project in KSA central to the KSA Vision 2030. It is a multi billion project focusing on luxury hospitality, commercial offices, retail among others

Description

Strategic Planning:

* Develop construction strategies and plans in alignment with project objectives and client requirements
* Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
* Establish construction methodologies and standards to ensure quality and efficiency

Project Management:

* Lead and oversee all phases of the construction process from pre-construction to project closeout
* Coordinate with project managers, PMCs and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
* Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and implement corrective actions as necessary
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures

Stakeholder Coordination:

* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders regarding construction-related matters
* Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels to ensure alignment and address concerns
* Manage expectations and provide regular project updates to stakeholders

Quality Assurance and Control:

* Establish quality assurance processes and standards for construction activities

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
* Extensive experience in construction management, with a focus on commercial office projects
* Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality control measures.
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are desirable.
* Experience with sustainable building practices and LEED certification is a plus
