JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our Facility Management projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, strategic planning skills, and a deep understanding of facility management operations. The Project Director will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to drive project success and enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of facility management projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and implement project strategies, goals, and objectives in alignment with the company's vision and client requirements.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct regular project reviews and reporting, providing updates to senior management and stakeholders on project progress and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in facility management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation in facility management practices, identifying opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting our services and building the company’s reputation in the market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.- Minimum of 18 years of experience in facility management or project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, financial analysis, and resource allocation.
- In-depth knowledge of facility management principles, practices, and technologies.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality assurance practices related to facility management.
- Fluency in English is required
