JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Our client is a leading listed manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia, currently the company is in the expansion phase, therefore, they are seeking seeking to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale industrial manufacturing projects from green-field till delivery. Reporting to the COO, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex industrial-construction projects from green-field to completion, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with specifications, standards, international norms and with safety standards, and alignment with business goals. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent stakeholder management skills to drive project success in a dynamic industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of industrial manufacturing construction projects, ensuring they meet scope, time, quality, and budget requirements.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project progress.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify potential project issues and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain strong communication channels with clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations onsite.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide project managers and teams to foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, qualified Project Management professional PMP, and surely Master’s degree is an advantage.- Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the industrial manufacturing sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience directing large-scale mega industrial projects world-wide (anywhere) is must
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
- Fluency in English is required
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements in the manufacturing industry.
