JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are a world’s renowned multinational company within the construction and building material industry and we have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Projects Planner in Saudi Arabia. This role will proactively support sales & projects functions by creating project schedules and related support material for use in estimates and proposals.
Job Duties:
- Design, construct and maintain cost and resource loaded schedules for projects in execution and pro-actively highlight resource and time challenges in meeting schedule requirements
- Interact with customers when needed to clearly understand overall project requirements and milestones in order to integrate master schedules with those specific to company scope
- Bridge potential misalignment by actively checking project schedules and identifying and suggesting corrective actions
- Assist Project Managers in the development and maintenance of existing schedules, performing critical path, acceleration and gap analysis as required
- Maintain accurate records of schedule development through the lifetime of the project
- Contribute in the development of planning processes and best practices and assist with their implementation
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in project planning preferably in the construction sector
- This role is open for Saudi nationals
- Excellent knowledge of MS Project and Primavera is required
- Excellent presentation & analytical skills
- Fluency in Arabic & English languages
- Ability to collaborate, multitask and handle changing projects requirements
