JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all procurement activities for catering, F&B, and hospitality operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They will be responsible for ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of all goods and services needed for the company's operations.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Monitor market trends and prices to ensure the company is getting the best value for money and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support and guidance on procurement processes.
- Manage the procurement budget and ensure all purchases are within budget and aligned with the company's financial goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
- Oversee the selection and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, price, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products and services.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Manage a team of procurement staff and provide training and guidance to ensure the team's development and performance.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the catering, F&B, or hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia is a plus.

Salary:
SAR 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
