JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
Job Scope:
Develop and maintain a high level of quality assurance processes, documentation and standards including internal audits and liaison with third-party certification authorities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the existing Quality Management System ISO 29001:2010 – APIQ1 / ISO 9001:2008, and ensure that all processes are adhered to in the relevant departments.
• Perform internal audits and coordinate milestone steps required for certification follow-up and renewal (management reviews, customer satisfaction surveys, etc)
• Collects and maintains records for the Quality Documentary System.
• Implements corrective actions, preventive actions and non-conformance certificates when a problem is raised at any level.
• Lead future certifications such as (but not limited to) the API16C Monogram.
• Assist in developing an Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series program and certification (OHSAS 18001:2007).
• Prepare Fabrication Data Books in conjunction with the project team.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably with a quality background.
• Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001-2008
• Quality Management Systems implementation exposure in a similar industry, with a proven track record.
• Prior exposure to welding techniques or associate certification (Quality Welding Inspector Course, NDT Qualifications - ASNT Level II for UT / RT / MPI / DPT) will be a plus but is not a must
• Awareness regarding:
1) The organisation's quality, environmental, or health and safety policies;
2) Job Specific procedures, instructions and formats.
3) Relevant quality, environmental, or health and safety objectives;
4) Their contribution to the effectiveness of the management system;
5) Benefits of improved performance;
6) The implications of not conforming to management system requirements
